Mr. Cortino is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Hampshire. He received his Bachelor’s in Social Work from the Kent School of Social Work, University of Louisville, in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2014, Mr. Cortino graduated from the Advanced Standing Master of Social Work Program at the Kent School with his Master’s in Social Work. After completion of his graduate degree, Mr. Cortino worked as a Home Based Therapist for Ireland Home Based Service in Sellersburg, Indiana where he provided in- home child and family therapy, tailoring treatment interventions based on child and family need.
Additionally, he provided resource referral and parenting support. In this role, Mr. Cortino oversaw the Fatherhood Engagement Group for incarcerated father’s whose children had been removed from parental custody. He worked towards the goal of family reunification. Prior to joining The Counseling Center, Mr.
Cortino was employed at Riverbend Community Mental Health Center in Franklin, New Hampshire. He carried a caseload of children, adolescents and families in this setting providing individual and family therapy. Mr.
