To help you get to where you no longer need my help: that is my definition of Psychotherapy. Fort 35 years that I have been studying and practicing psychotherapy I have learned and continue to learn as many different therapeutic approaches as I can fit into an extended work day. I want to bring all those theories and methods into the office to help you analyze and master the obstacles you may encounter, to help you dispel that idea that you are damaged, broken or inferior. My specialties include trauma, special needs, psychological testing, bariatric evaluations, forensic evaluations, EMDR, adolescents, adults and geriatrics, immigration literacy evaluations, No Fault (car accident) evaluations, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychoanalysis and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I offer psychological testing both cognitive and neuropsychological. I also use EMDR. My approach is eclectic in nature: I use multiple theoretical approaches to find the best fit with the patient is session.
