mar utilizes a trauma informed and anti-oppressive approach to therapy - recognizing that many people who come into ær's office are impacted by oppressive systems and dominant social narratives. What that looks like in the room is a lot of warmth and humor combined with a lot of questions to help you better understand yourself.
mar recognizes that therapy looks different for everyone and is invested in building supportive, empathetic, & honest relationships with ær’s clients. mar is dedicated to listening to ær clients, giving them a space to feel the breadth of emotions that come up during sessions, and empowering them with techniques to better navigate past and current traumas.
