Serious Illness Group
Starting January, virtual, time TBD: Living with a serious or life-limiting illness can feel like just that: limiting. But it doesn’t have to. This therapeutic group will help participants to strengthen coping skills, practice mindfulness, explore personal values, and find community. We’ll explore themes that often come up when facing health issues like identity and independence, relationship changes, worries around illness progression or dying, and more. This group is a best fit for someone with a diagnosis of a serious or progressive illness, including (but not limited to) cancer, lung disease, kidney failure, Parkinson’s Disease, etc.

Navigating Caregiving Group
Starting in January, virtual, covered by insurance. Timing TBD. Caring for someone with a serious or advanced illness is HARD, but it’s not the only story that exists! This therapeutic group will help participants to strengthen coping skills, practice mindfulness, explore personal values, and find community. We’ll explore common themes that come up when navigating caregiving including changing relationship dynamics, grieving over time, advocating for your loved one in a challenging healthcare system, and finding balance and connection through it all.
