Beginning therapy takes courage, and I feel a direct and simplistic approach can help alleviate the struggle brought on by work, relationships, and personal challenges. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing struggles with life, relationships and/or a variety of mental health disorders. A client's goals can be defined in session and issues may be intertwined when explored in more detail. My style of therapy is adaptable to the need of the client. By working together we can gain a better understanding of your past to create a more optimistic future. I am bilingual Punjabi/English.
The thought of mental health and therapy can be off-putting for many people. I feel therapy is most effective if the individual or family can speak freely in a comfortable manner. This is why I have a more conversational style of psychotherapy. "If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got".
