My work as a counselor is helping individuals and families with issues including adjustment, attachment, behavior problems, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationships. I approach counseling from a Cognitive-Behavioral perspective and incorporate additional methods including creative arts, mindfulness, family systems, solution-focused, play, and narrative therapy depending on each client's unique needs and preferences.
I often teach Behavior Modification techniques to parents of children with problem behaviors. I also use Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Processing (CPT) for clients who have issues related to domestic violence and other trauma.
Whether you are looking for support, guidance, insight, perspective, tools, or a safe place to process, please reach out to inquire whether I might be the right counselor for you.
