Our Team
Hello there! I specialize in anxiety, relationship or life overwhelm, and the effects of unresolved childhood trauma. I often help high achieving professionals eager for a change, exhausted caretakers who don't get to stop, and women navigating pregnancy or postpartum. As your therapist, I'll help you connect the dots, practice new skills, feel your emotions with curiosity and grounding, and work through painful experiences that are hard to face alone. I'm especially interested in BIPOC mental health and making sure therapy isn't one size fits all. I see therapy as a way to not only get unstuck, but move towards flourishing.

I specialize in helping adults with intense emotions, relationship/attachment difficulties, and trauma. I understand how overwhelming feelings can get and will help you navigate them with empathy and practical support. It can feel like a paradox–you're attuned to others' feelings but struggle with your own. You want to better understand and accept yourself, but are afraid of what might come up. You want to connect, feel seen, and understood, but pull away when others get close. We'll work together to make sense of your experiences, explore how things came to be, and develop more effective ways moving forward.

I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, activism burnout, cultural conflict, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, and folx seeking LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Sometimes, we can feel alone in our struggles, and feel like we have to “keep it together” for everyone else. This can be exhausting and painful. I strive to create a safe space where you can fully be yourself as we collaboratively address challenges you are facing. I work from a place of empowerment, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and creativity to help you understand your emotions, process your experiences, and develop strategies to heal.

I use techniques based in research to help people sleep and new mothers navigate transitions. I have been doing research in the field of sleep and lifespan development for over 20 years. I love to see patients try something new in their day-to-day life and see the negative cycle of poor sleep and bad days turn into sleep and daytime confidence. I also work with people seeking therapy for fertility, pregnancy and postpartum-related concerns. In this area, I have extensive training and experience to help families clarify decisions and address the unique emotions that come with family planning, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.

Sometimes it can feel challenging to navigate growth and change on your own. I'd like to help you find clarity and relief. I see therapy as a collaborative space to increase self-understanding, build self-compassion, and practice healthier communication. In session, I lead with warmth and curiosity and love to connect with my patients through humor. Together, we will observe and deepen awareness of your thought patterns and emotional experiences. Through self-reflection, we'll work to harness your strengths and bring new perspective to self-critical thoughts, difficult or uncomfortable emotions, and self-sabotaging behaviors.
