As a therapist, my goal is to help my clients work through the difficulties of life and create meaningful change in their lives. I love working with young people experiencing various things, such as traumatic experiences, PTSD, grief, depression, and anxiety. I recognize that not all people express themselves best with words, and strive to find the right methods for each client. I will often incorporate mindfulness techniques, breath work, and somatic techniques in addition to art therapy to assist my clients in building a mind-body connection.
I specialize in using art therapy to assist my Clients in exploring their thoughts and feelings in different ways and helping them express what they need to heal. I use a strength-based, holistic approach to counseling and believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is the foundation for successful therapeutic work.
