An area that I specialize in is working with children of divorced/estranged parents and families, providing both clinical treatment and expert advocacy. I recognize that healing often requires more than just weekly sessions; it requires an objective, passionate, professional voice to speak on behalf of a child’s well-being within the legal system. I actively provide court services to ensure that my young clients’ emotional needs, and their voices, are accurately represented and protected. I am trained in forensic mental health and am working toward a board certification in that field of expertise.
Other populations that I work with are families and individuals. I work with families in distress, many of whom are referred to my practice via the court system. I work with individuals to bring their stories to a place of healing for a bright future.
We all have a story. Our stories can leave us with deep wounds from which anxiety, depression, grief, post-trauma responses, anger, and hopelessness grow. Our stories can also leave us with hope, places for growth in the present, and a fulfilling future. I believe that people can be restored by learning how to grow from the places that still hurt.
