My goal is to make sure my clients feel heard, understood, supported, and achieve meaningful insights. I have 25 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. While I specialize in trauma/PTSD counseling, I also work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, intrusive thoughts, and other mental health challenges. I am committed to creating a relaxed, supportive, and positive space for my clients, because I know that disclosing personal information can be very difficult. I strive to be honest, compassionate, and non-judgmental in my interactions with each client.
As a trauma therapist, I work with clients experiencing past or present trauma. My expertise encompasses various forms of trauma, including sexual, physical, emotional, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) resulting from war, natural disasters, and unresolved grief. I’m a certified Clinical Trauma Provider and a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist
We’re accepting new clients! My private practice at MK Counseling Services has counselors available in the morning, afternoon, and evening (both in-person and telehealth). Our location has free and plenty of parking (handicap accessibility). The office building is quiet and private for those who prefer a more discreet setting.
