Life is not easy and can throw us curve balls. We are often left feeling disappointed, frustrated, angry and sometimes downright defeated. Seeking help does not mean we are weak. Change takes a lot of courage and effort. I am here to assist with that process. I am a licensed mental health clinician who specializes in working with teens and adults through individual, couples, and family therapy. I understand that no person is alike and each needs a specific individualized plan of care. I strive to empower clients to find their own solutions and achieve personal growth and fulfillment.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Methods used include CBT, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, and Trauma-Informed. I am working towards becoming certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Processing Therapy (EMDR). I also have an interest in becoming a Certified Somatic Healer.
With a passion to help others achieve their goals, I provide a no judgement atmosphere and use a trauma-focused lens to support healing and recovery. I express high levels of compassion, empathy, and understanding to present clients with a soft, caring approach. It is important for rapport to be built for the therapeutic process to be effective.
