Practicing from a Child-Centered Play Therapy perspective, I believe that children are strong and capable. I utilize children's natural language, play, to process feelings and thoughts they don't understand. Play Therapy allows children to develop positive sense of self, learn to build relationships, and achieve overall wellness.
Having worked twenty years with children and families in research labs, nonprofits and schools, I have always known my calling to be children. I am passionate about helping misunderstood children (sometimes labeled as defiant, anxious or broken) increase their self-esteem, process experiences, and learn to effectively use their voice.
