I am a licensed, bilingual (Mandarin) psychologist who specializes in treating anxiety mood disorders, relationship/life transition problems, acculturation/racial identity related issues among adolescents, college-aged youth (especially international students), young adults, couples, and Asian-American families. Additionally, I am proficient in career counseling. I have 15+ years of experience in providing multiculturally sensitive and evidence-based treatments.

Dr. Robin Lowey & Associates is a group psychology practice where experienced clinicians have been offering therapy and assessment services in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas for over 30 years. We provide psychotherapy, medication management, and psychological evaluations. The therapists at Dr. Robin Lowey & Associates have differing educational backgrounds and therapeutic styles, but the common theme is that we are all focused on heightening each client's overall happiness. We see the pain caused by depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship turmoil as an opportunity for growth and change.

Too many life stressors may lead to unfocused work and/or frequent "crisis management" interventions. In collaboration, we identify presenting issues, prioritize problems, and clarify treatment goals for positive changes. I offer brief treatment (8-12 sessions) and long-term therapy (6 months+). For brief treatment, the average number of sessions needed is typically 8-12. For complex and persistent issues, more sessions might be needed. She is passionate about helping adolescents, adults and couples address their unique challenges and thrive. Melissa specializes in using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities to address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, cultural issues and major life transitions. Melissa completed her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Villanova University.

Zijin "Gin" Zhang is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC Associate) with over 3 years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about working with teenagers and young adults who suffer from mental health illnesses, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, and more. Gin also completed her internship at The Center for Autism, and would be dedicated to assisting the ASD population in achieving their treatment goals.

Mengyuan Wang is a Resident Clinician who has 2 years of experience interning and working in the mental health field. She is experienced in cultivating self-compassion and increasing psychological flexibility in her clients. Mengyuan specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, anger issues, and major life transitions.

We started this practice because we love what we do, helping people grow. Here at Blue Creek, we offer individual, couples and family therapy. We serve children, teens, adults and older adults.
