I've worked in a variety of settings, administering numerous types of evaluations, from workers comp, to neuropsychological, parental fitness to custody evaluations. In therapy, I listen for core conflictual themes. I then bring these themes to awareness so my patients can step back and reflect on how they behaved in the past, experience both of us in the present, and prepare for their future. kindling dialogue between us will ignite hope and nurture compassion within yourself, between us and with your loved ones.
Emotional regulation, working with the triangle of insight, relying on meditation, processing grief, working through loneliness, mastering negotiation between loved ones, becoming flexible--I offer a safe place to address life's discomforts so you can work through pain as a means to head towards a brighter future.
Take a walk in the woods, sit on a mossy rock for a time and breath. If, after relaxing, should you brighten to the idea of exploring treatment for yourself, please call me to set up an appointment.
