Are you looking to understand more about yourself? Maybe I can help. I have had the pleasure of interacting with and learning from clients with diverse backgrounds. My lived experience as an immigrant gives me first-hand experience with grief, loss, and being an outsider. My clinical experience includes working in a hospital setting, a refugee resettlement agency, and a college. While I have experience working with a variety of issues, I take a special interest in working with young adults, neurodivergence, trauma, family-of-origin issues, and multicultural experiences.

I'm a licensed art therapist that is dedicated to nurturing culturally attuned care for the Asian and Asian-American communities. At the core of my practice is an unyielding belief in the transformative and healing power of art, a medium that transcends linguistic and cultural barriers, inviting individuals from all walks of life to engage, express, and heal. I've embraced a diverse array of individuals, particularly championing the needs of people of color, immigrants, and minority groups, guiding them towards self-acceptance, gender affirmation, and a profound sense of self-worth.

We recognize how difficult it can be to seek help with mental health issues. Our goal is to meet you where you are in a supportive, encouraging way. We never use shame as a motivator. Instead we seek to provide a balance between giving you time and space to heal and challenging and encouraging you to move forward to a healthier place. We have a staff of over 40 therapists each with different specialties; we all possess the same single passion: to walk with our clients on the path of healing.

We're a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive mental health counseling group for multicultural, Asian, BIPOC, immigrants, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized communities. Judie Huang is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from Wheaton College with a MA degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Hi! My name is Sandy and I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing counseling to teenagers (12+) and adults in Illinois. My past clinical experience includes working with adolescents and adults, and veterans, especially those with past trauma and/or those who struggle with anxiety and depression. I also am passionate about working with immigrants, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ community members and multicultural populations.
