I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the DMV and currently offering testing and evaluation services out of my office in Capital Hill/Barracks area. I am able to provide comprehensive psychological assessments for learning disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), academic accommodations, and admissions testing. I also provide diagnostic clarification for psychiatric disorders if you are considering assessing for treatment progress or you/your provider seek a second opinion. I provide supervision for therapy and assessments, as well as welcome teaching and research opportunities.
I also provide individual psychotherapy with a strong skill-set in trauma-informed care for adolescents, young adults, adults, and women of color. I draw from my background in cognitive-behavioral skills training, family systems, and relational-cultural therapy. I use a warm, direct, and collaborative approach.
I received my doctorate from University of Virginia and have completed training and/or worked in the following settings: UT Health San Antonio, Georgetown University, The George Washington University, Capital Institute for Cognitive Therapy, and Cherry Tree Neuropsychology.
