About
Everyone deserves to feel at home in their body. I work using an intersectional feminist perspective with a focus on trauma, gender, sexuality, life transitions, feeling stuck, coming out later in life, being a late bloomer, immigration experiences, and navigating neurodivergence. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+, TGNC/NB and queer identified communities.
The mind and body are impacted when you experience stress and trauma and my approach is to address both using my training in EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy as well as other somatic techniques, parts work, and mindfulness. I create a supportive environment to help my clients generate insight, be self reflective and create change.
My experience includes working at Ackerman Institute's Gender & Family Project, Safe Horizon Counseling Center, and The Anti-Violence Project. I utilize anti-racist/anti-oppressive frameworks in my collaborative work with clients and I believe that deeply rooted within each of us are the tools and knowledge for our own growth and healing.
