I am an experienced psychotherapist, with a specialization treating anxiety and trauma disorders. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impacting you. I believe that each person has the capacity to heal and discover their deepest potential. I am a mindfulness-based and compassion oriented psychotherapist, believing that the key to lasting change is through developing skills in awareness and self-compassion so that we might notice our habitual reactions and choose instead to respond with personal wisdom.
My background includes work with individuals coping with new or worsening health conditions, military veterans, survivors of physical and/or sexual trauma, and individuals involved in the criminal justice system. I regularly incorporate compassion-focused and somatic-based practices into my work with clients. I also offer Mindfulness-Based Group Programs.

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), is an empirically-supported training program that teaches us to develop the warm-hearted, connected presence we need during moments of difficulty. Self-compassion allows us to motivate ourselves with encouragement, befriend our shortcomings, prevent caregiver burnout, sustain valued actions, honor our boundaries, and live authentically. Self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional well-being, decreased anxiety and depression, a healthy relationship to food and body, and more satisfying relationships.
