I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned both Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Longwood University. I have several years of experience in community-based mental health providing services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I began my career working with young adults in a college setting and later completed her residency in a school-based mental health program. I typically take an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Feminist Theory.
I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, self-esteem and body image concerns, and various other mental health needs. I specifically enjoy working with teens, adults, and families. Believing that each client’s journey is unique, I prioritize creating a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
