Why horses? Often times we feel stuck or unsure how to move forward, how to cope, how to communicate, or how to connect. Horses provide the opportunity for humans to explore and discover their abilities to do all of those things by providing authentic bio-feedback. The truth is, horses don’t lie! In providing bio-feedback, human partners become self -aware, as well as identify ways to cultivate a meaningful, empathic, and reciprocal relationship, become more mindful, regulate where needed, and eventually create healthier thought and behavior patterns.
In founding H&H Connections, I creatively pair my clinical knowledge to the experiential process of engaging clients and horses in a meaningful way. In providing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, I am able to provide clients with a natural space where they can be their most authentic selves, as they discover hope and heal.
I understand the unknown may be uncomfortable, especially with a different approach to traditional talk therapy, but I invite you to come out to the farm, take a deep breath, and see how Equine Assisted Therapy may help you make strides in your mental health and wellness journey. Please reach out to set up a free in person consultation.
