I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) in the state of North Carolina. I have earned a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mount Olive in 2025. My clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, Bi-polar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, trauma, and family dynamics. I have 13 years of experience working with the substance abuse population as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Existential Therapy, helping clients to identify and regulate emotions, change thought patterns, obtain goal-oriented progress, and seek purpose.
I view the counseling relationship as a collaborative partnership. Clients are experts on their own lives, and I work alongside them to identify strengths, increase self-awareness, and create changes that align with their values. I am especially attentive to how family systems, attachment patterns, and environmental factors impact mental health and recovery.
