Sometimes people are reluctant to start therapy because they see it as a sign of weakness. It can be difficult to open up and be vulnerable to someone new. I understand this reluctance and I'm here to make this process as easy and as helpful as possible. I will listen to your problems, give you encouragement and teach you the skills you need to improve your life.
I am a licensed independent social worker with experience in treating grief and loss, PTSD, stress/anxiety and depression. Prior to working in private practice, I worked at Mercy Behavioral Health Services. I have helped people with physical and mental disabilities, chronic illnesses, job stress/burnout and trauma.
