About
Making the decision to reach out for counseling can be really hard and you are already on the way towards living the life you want just by taking this step! I believe in meeting you where you are and working in a collaborative way to help address issues that may be causing you distress. While I take a problem-solving approach to helping clients, I also believe in the benefits of supportive therapy as people navigate daily challenges. -Please note I am no longer accepting couples-
My goal as a therapist is to help you address areas of your life that are causing you distress, unhappiness or worry. I am sex-positive and LGBTQ Affirming. I have experience working with a variety of issues like anxiety, stress, depression, coping skills, sexuality, self-esteem, family conflict, addiction, chronic illness, HIV, women's issues, and gender.
I earned my Masters in Counseling from Cal State Northridge and my Bachelor of Arts from UCLA in Literature. I am also a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I am certified in EMDR therapy.
