My ideal client is someone who is motivated to improve their life in some way. My passion is working with adolescents and young adults who are experiencing increased depression, anxiety, and trouble in relationships due to the many life changes they are experiencing because of their age. I believe that this demographic experiences changes and new issues almost daily, and it is important for them to feel like they have someone to guide them through these changes and gain more stability in their lives.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with adolescents and young adults. I enjoy talking through the life changes that this demographic goes through, the mental health struggles that come with those changes, and how it affects all of their relationships. My primary focus is on anxiety, depression, relationship issues and trauma.
I believe that some of the best "medicine" is knowing that you are not alone in your fight. Going through a mental health battle can feel very lonely and isolating, and it is important to know that you have someone in your corner. My hope is for my clients to improve their overall quality of life through the therapy process and implement positive change.
