We all experience hardships and circumstances out of our control from time to time. My desire is to help you empower yourself, regain control of your life, and change your mindset so that you can have the most contentment and joy possible. I hope to create a safe place for you to develop your strengths while equipping you for positive change as you navigate the challenges of life. Seeking counseling requires a lot of courage and strength; your step in faith will be met with kindness, genuine care, and understanding.
My counseling methods are informed by evidence-based treatment strategies; specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based (MCBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These methods of counseling seek to treat negative thought patterns, renew one’s mind, and teach new strategies to help a person cope with life’s challenges effectively.
My central belief behind these strategies is that the greatest path to healing is through finding one’s most authentic self with Christ at the center. I believe that everyone is created uniquely in Christ and must be treated as an individual. I will seek to help you create a path to holistic healing, growth, and peace.
