I love working with clients who have a readiness to gain greater self awareness, and those who have a deep desire to know and accept themselves. I have a heart for working with individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as those who have ADHD/ASD. As a member of these communities myself I know that many of us were taught to dislike ourselves or to try and blend in and I hope to offer each client who steps into my office a sense of safety and understanding.
I take a psychodynamic approach to therapy. I want to help people see how their past is affecting them presently, and equip them with the tools to live a healthy life. I love to work with my clients as a team to find patterns, make meaning of thoughts, and to learn new ways of being. All these things I incorporate come from a neurodiversity affirming lens.
Many of the clients I serve have a history of feeling isolated, disappointed, and overwhelmed. Especially those who have been diagnosed with ADHD or Autism later in life. I want to help break down those barriers, help you to find community and feel connected to not only those around you but yourself as well.
