Are you or your child feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed? I work with children, adolescents, and adults, who are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, social challenges, life transitions, and trauma. My years as a middle school director of guidance have provided me with the incredible experience of working with teenagers and parents, and the many challenges with which we are faced in what may sometimes feel like a scary world. I strive to create an accepting and compassionate space, where you are seen and can feel safe to explore and work through whatever may be holding you back in your life.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I value the relationship as a collaborative one. I utilize an integrative approach, combining psychodynamic, CBT, and DBT techniques, which allow space for new insight and growth in unique ways. I am passionate about working with adolescents who are struggling and helping parents navigate through these challenging years.
Being a parent – and a kid! – these days is tough, and we all can use guidance at times. Concerns about social media and technology, school, friends, and self-esteem are only some examples of what you might be struggling with at home.
