Developing trust and a rapport with a client is critical to ultimate success, and is especially important when working with pre-teens through young adults. This is one of my strengths and a key component in the therapy. I have worked primarily in addressing the following areas: anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, familial discord, stressors associated with the college application process, relationship issues, and also working with student athletes.
For the past eight years I've worked in the Disability Services office at Columbia University and have experience working with students in high pressure academic settings (both HS and college), but also with co-morbid psychiatric and learning disabilities. I also have a sports background and enjoy working with both HS and college athletes.
