It is in these times, we could all benefit seeking support from others. I have been helping people per aspera, or through difficulty, in a therapeutic capacity for over 14 years. I am curious by nature about people's unique strengths and struggles and enjoy the process of developing strategies for working through difficulty.
I am an LSCSW with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Kansas. I am well versed in evidence-based practices that could be utilized given the presenting problem, including: cognitive behavioral therapy, systematic desensitization/exposure therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
While I am rooted in these approaches, my work is individualized. I understand the ways in which your experiences are shared by others; however, I also recognize your difficult experiences are stories all your own, and likewise, I seek to help you get through them in a manner all your own.
