My specializations include individuals, families and relationships with co-occurring and complex mental health, substance use, problem gambling and personality disorders. Additionally, I have a special interest in women and couples who are experiencing a broad spectrum of fertility challenges, pregnancy losses, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments, and postpartum concerns.
I am trained in and utilize evidence based practices such as DBT, CBT, MBT, and EMDR. I have completed an intensive 3 year psychodynamic training called Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, ISTDP for short, which works to resolve a wide range of emotional hardships by regulating anxiety and disrupting harmful coping behaviors.
I am a provider for Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, TriWest, and CalGETS (for problem gambling). I am out of network for other PPO's and would be happy to offer superbills for reimbursement.
