My counseling philosophy is to meet a person wherever they are, with whatever the issues are that they are dealing with, & assist the person(s) to the ultimate goal of self-empowerment. My goal as a clinician is to assist you, your family, and your loved ones to enhance his or her quality of life to a point where professional services are no longer necessary to sustain & maintain his or her full potential.
I am certified as a DBT professional. I am also certified in CBT for the treatment of anxiety. I do a lot of work with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and am currently completing a certification to treat ADHD. I have experience with working with Depression symptoms, as well as Grief. I am also licensed in NJ as an Addictions Specialist.
My ultimate goal of the first session is to ensure that there is the opportunity for a second & third session. I believe that it is very important to help people understand that my goal is to assist individuals & families in becoming better versions of themselves.
