As a trauma specialist, I provide healing resources for clients, and training resources for healing professionals. For clients, I provide 1:1 as well as group-based work in person and virtually. For healing professionals such as therapists, I offer workshops and trainings throughout the year, as well as on demand. My website is the best resource to review my background and integral, multi-modal approach to address issues including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, sleep issues, chronic pain, digestive and GI problems, ADHD, procrastination, relationship difficulties, troubles with intimacy or sexuality, and compulsions/addiction.

One thing that sets me apart is being a survivor-researcher-practitioner. As a survivor of trauma myself, this work isn't theoretical - I know what it's like to struggle with symptoms and explore different ways to recover and heal. As a PhD researcher, I'm steeped in the pioneering work of folks investigating how to tackle the journey of recovery.

My 1:1 sessions run 50-75 minutes. Using a phase-based approach, we'll identify how best to support you given where you are when we first meet. I help some folks with stabilizing symptoms and their life through resourcing and tools; I help others who are needing to grieve and integrate their experiences; and folks looking to engage with life more fully.

Traumatic experiences have often impacted the lives of my clients for decades. When they find me, they are ready for a change. One important thing to know about trauma recovery is that there are many effective and helpful methods to heal, but not "the" one, singular, "most effective" method. Thus, our sessions may include a blend of talk, attachment-based work, mind-body tools and practices, and psychoeducation (learning about stress in the body and nervous system, and how to use this knowledge to recover and heal).

Complex Trauma Support Group (women + nonbinary)

An open-ended support group for women and non-binary individuals with histories of Complex PTSD (sometimes referred to as complex trauma, C-PTSD, or CT). This group un-shames the feelings of brokenness, hopelessness, isolation, and chronic un-safety that often characterizes complex trauma. Feel supported for anxiety, depression, addictions, sleep, ADHD, anger, OCD, sexuality, chronic pain, and illness. Usually on Zoom, occasionally in person (Bay Area, CA, USA).
