Everyone faces challenges in life and, at times, it is helpful to have extra support to work through those challenges. It is my hope that you will reach out for that support. As a licensed social worker, I have worked in the field for 6 years, working alongside adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, mood disorders, identity and many other concerns. I firmly believe that therapy is a collaborative process between the individual and the therapist. I value shared decision making and encourage open communication.
My goal is to assist you in identifying, working towards and achieving your goals, whatever those might be. I will utilize concepts and skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist you through this process.
