I strive to make therapy an enjoyable and fulfilling experience and meet clients where they are at in their healing journey. I emphasize the use of client centered and strength based approaches. I also prioritize the preservation of self, relationships, and family. I incorporate trauma informed care, mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ( CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and expressive arts.
I moved across the country (WI to AZ) and personally understand transitions can be difficult. I also come from a multicultural background and I know how the overlap of culture/race can impact an individual.
