My desire is to help individuals, couples and families to navigate through life's issues by applying Christ-centered counseling. My Bible-based approach will acknowledge that life can be difficult, but that each person is created uniquely and wonderfully by God, and He has a good future in store for His children.
I have been in Christian ministry for 40 years, working with children, youth and adults, as well as couples in premarital and marital counseling. I have been married for 38 years. My wife and I have raised four adult children. I have a lifetime of experiences that help me to be empathetic and, hopefully, helpful to people.
As a pastoral counselor, I do not practice psychology, and I do not intend to present myself as a practitioner of psychology. I approach therapy from a spiritual perspective.
