I do not keep a waitlist. My caseload is currently full. Ideal clients for my expertise are LGBTQIA+ families, individuals, or relationships. Therapy focus can include (not limited to): navigating the world as a queer or transgender person; navigating neurodivergence; trauma; working with a chronic illness and degenerative disorders. Whether this is a work relationship, monogamous marriage, parent/teen relationship in a blended family, or one of the relationships in your polycule, we can find solutions together. The single greatest protective/healing factor in all of these are our supportive relationships.
As a Relational Art Therapist, I lean on both the verbal and non-verbal to process and dance with our natural defenses. Art allows us to bypass our verbal defenses that would otherwise get in the way of getting to the root of the issue or obstacle in the way of progress. And don't stress about making art, most folks make stick figures/scribbles (100% ok).
We live in trying times and life likely wasn't easy from the start. I use lived experiences, education, and current research to compliment the expertise you bring to the therapy room.
