Leslie works with women and teens experiencing depression ranging from hormonal, postpartum and other medical causes to situational stress, anxiety, personality disorders, lack of coping skills or those struggling to work through grief and trauma. Leslie works with post-abortive and post-pregnancy loss women, walking alongside them as they process the full range of emotions associated with the loss of a baby. Leslie also enjoys working to repair/maintain teen and parent relationships and martial relationships, seeking healthy communication and healing in, at times, very difficult situations.
I like my clients, which thankfully makes it easy to have compassion for who they are and what they have been through. Trauma is not our fault but it becomes our burden process, otherwise we can become someone else's source of pain. It is my goal to use all my counseling tools to help clients work through their barriers to emotional health.
I am a Christian counselor, but I am comfortable and experienced in counseling individuals of any faith. I genuinely like all people. I take insurance or offer a per session fee of $125.
