I am dedicated to helping clients gain more insight, balance, and happiness in their lives. Together we can uncover underlying reasons for symptomatic behaviors and emotions and address those to learn healthier, more productive and beneficial ways to deal with challenging situations. As a transpersonal therapist, my goal is to help clients gain greater self-knowledge and richer inner lives. Identifying areas of concern and learning ways to heal and triumph adversity can be challenging; however, I believe that together we can produce meaning from them and become resilient.
I work collaboratively with my clients to find out what works for them and their situation. I am an integrative therapist, tailoring approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Trauma Focused Therapy, and others to fit each client's need.
My experience in mental health began several years ago, working directly with the psychiatrist, therapists and clients at Insightful Minds. I then provided therapy to clients at the Women's Transitional Living Center, working with children and adults with conditions such as PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Self-Esteem issues and more.
