I was born and raised in New Orleans. I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2014. Afterwards, I pursued a Master of Arts in Counseling with a special concentration in School Counseling at the University of Holy Cross, where I graduated in 2018. I trained and counseled in a variety of settings including the following: Thomas E. Chambers’ Counseling and Training Center, Department of Juvenile Services/Rivarde Juvenile Detention Center, East Jefferson High School, and Beacon Behavioral Outpatient Clinic.
I have provided counseling services in a variety of settings across the Greater New Orleans area including both clinical practice settings as well as local high schools which has allowed me to develop a systematic approach to therapy. For two years, I trained under the supervision of Stephanie Ducros, PhD, LPC-S, NCC, and Roy Salgado, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT, NCC.
I have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults from a variety of backgrounds, and I hold both state and national certifications. I also utilize several techniques, but Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is my overarching approach. I aim to help my clients achieve Healing, Growth, and Empowerment throughout the therapeutic journey.
