I offer judgement-free thoughtful reflections, with the goal of turning negative experiences and interpretations of feelings, into new directions and meanings. I can help you navigate traumas and difficult life-changes that cause internal and external conflict. I would like to help you navigate the challenges of being caught between multiple cultures and norms, and learn to advocate for the self and one’s need to grow past obstacles. I have a genuine desire to help those who feel stuck, or have a difficult time making sense of who they are and who they wish to be.

My approach is humanistic and existential. I focus on the individual, not on categorizations or labels. I tailor each treatment plan to meet the individual and unique needs of every single client. I help clients to become more self-aware and to understand what he or she might be needing/wanting. My intention is to help clients concentrate on the here and now while offering empathy, understanding, and compassion. By creating a supportive environment, it is my belief that individuals will feel safe and welcomed. I believe in creating a space that allows for open communication without the fear of judgement.

During a session with you, we will work as a team to dig deep, increasing your self-awareness, learning things about yourself you never knew and learning to create healthy relationships with yourself and others to help you on your healing journey. I work with clients on a range of concerns, including coping with anxiety & stress, relationship issues, women's concerns, navigating life with chronic illnesses & pain, invisible disabilities, medical trauma, suicidal ideation, etc.

Some people come to therapy to process trauma. Some people have stressful jobs, difficulties in school, or other life challenges and want to unlock coping skills. Some people are worried or sad or both and do not know why or how to feel better. As a licensed clinical social worker, I use my clinical experience and training to guide you in your self-exploration. I believe that people deserve to enjoy life and to suffer less.
