Jasmine Mathurin received a B.A. in Sociology at Boston College and her Masters in Social Work at Fordham University. She has a background that involves providing individual and group therapy to women, children, adolescents, and families battling various forms of mental illness, including depression, anxiety disorders, learning disabilities, phobias and attention disorders. Dr. Oakes is a NYS licensed psychologist who specializes in issues particular to women such as infertility, child development, and postpartum depression. She works with children, adolescents, adults and families. In addition to individual and family therapy, Dr. Oakes provides assessments for the diagnosis of autism, learning disabilities, and emotional disorders. She also provides the required testing and reports for clients undergoing bariatric surgery.
