Hello! I'm Brianna, a Licensed Master Social Worker. I am an Adelphi University graduate receiving my BSW in 2018 and my MSW in 2019. I have experience working in schools, non-profits, and medical settings. I spent two years working as an in-home therapist servicing youth with severe emotional and behavioral disturbances and now currently work full-time in the field of substance use. I’ve worked with many different populations including ages ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, LGBTQ+, family caregivers, substance abuse, and victims of domestic violence & sexual assault, just to name a few.

I specialize in children, adolescents, adults, life stages issues, anxiety, couples, trauma and grief.

I previously worked for Child Protective Services for 8 years and have knowledge of child abuse and neglect concerns, court matters, and custody issues. I worked with an intensive family program (HCBS Waiver) that focused on youths with severe emotional and behavioral issues for 5 years. I also have a Masters Degree in School Counseling, which has given me vast knowledge in CSE proceedings, educational laws, and academic requirements.

Sunshine Counseling is a private psychology practice who offer mental health services to individuals experiencing various symptoms and issues.
