I believe that the ultimate goal of therapy is to gain a better understanding of one’s self, and I love helping clients find excitement and joy in that journey. I have experience working with individuals of all ages that are navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, big life transitions, complex family dynamics, substance use, and strengthening their self-esteem. My approach to therapy would be a good fit for those that are interested in learning to view their feelings non judgmentally, understand their wants and needs, and communicate wants and needs to build healthier relationships.
I work with clients to locate the different puzzle pieces of their lives and see how they fit
together, and then take this deepened understanding themselves to find new
approaches to problem solving that better align with their core values. I prioritize
creating a safe, non-judgmental environment that emphasizes self-compassion and
forgiveness.
It can feel overwhelming to begin the work of digging up the painful parts of our past. It
is important to me to allow my clients to set the pace, and we can do this work at
