I specialize in working with anxiety concerns, OCD, generalized anxiety, phobias, and body-focused repetitive behaviors in individual therapy. I am a certified Exposure and Response Prevention Therapist (EX/RP) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Working with an exposure therapist will help you work through feared situations and thoughts with supportive feedback and skill development. I also offer traditional talk therapy to assist clients in gaining coping skills and processing distress tailored to individual needs using a person-centered, non-judgmental, and present-focused approach to my practice.
I enjoy continuing to learn more about new approaches in the field and take time to reflect on how I can integrate new ideas into my practice. I believe that therapy is successful when it is focused on power of the relationship. I take a person centered, non-judgmental, mindfulness based, and collaborative approach to my therapy work.
Starting the therapy process can be difficult and overwhelming, part of the process is finding a good fit in a therapist and that can be daunting and feel vulnerable. Working together to create a collaborative relationship and find a good fit for you is part of that process. I encourage you to reach out to start the process when you are ready.
