Hi, I’m Maggie! I help children, teenagers, and young adults address emotional and behavioral challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, school issues, and interpersonal struggles. I also work with the parents of my clients to support them as well. We all recognize that life is tough right now, and my goal is to help each of my clients know that they are valued and important. My experience working in schools, partial hospitalization programs, and private practice settings allows me to tailor treatment to each person I see.
I take a person-centered and empathetic approach with each client with whom I work. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and coping skill development to help individuals address unhelpful thought patterns, work through challenging behaviors, and learn how to notice and express feelings instead of keeping them in.
Being a child or adolescent in today's world is difficult, and having someone available to truly hear you and provide support with unconditional positive regard can make all of the difference in the world. I would love to be that person for you and/or your child. Contact me today to schedule an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you!
