Feeling emotionally lonely or disconnected?
Many of my clients are hardworking perfectionists who struggle silently with an internal sense of despair. They fear being "too much" or burdening others, leading to maladaptive patterns like disordered eating, compulsive exercise, or attending social events out of obligation. Radically Open (RO) DBT, an evidence-based treatment for emotional loneliness, helps build flexibility and openness, leading to stronger connections and emotional well-being.
Let’s work together to relearn new, adaptive patterns!
I've been intensively trained in RO DBT and offer individual sessions and skills classes. As an art therapist, I integrate RO DBT into my work, finding that art-making complements RO theory. It helps clients embrace vulnerability and openness, while learning from the discomfort that often arises in the creative process.
I’m passionate about the change I’ve seen in clients and am dedicated to helping others on their healing journey. My approach is humanistic, with a multicultural, anti-diet, and anti-racist lens. As a fat-liberation advocate, I believe in the power of art-making and authentic connection. I’d be honored to support you on your path to healing.
