About
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and specialize working with diverse adolescents, adults, and older adults (click website link to learn more). I work with patients who have suffered from a wide range of symptoms interfering in overall functioning, such as anxiety and mood disorders, personality disorders, adjustment and intense/excessive reactions, alcohol and drug addictions, sexually-based concerns, and emotional problems.
In order to provide meaningful psychological services, I believe in the importance of understanding an individual's cultural background, worldview and values. I work to create a supportive/warm environment and provide guidance to help clients on their journey to grow and overcome obstacles, which might be on their way to healthy and meaningful life.
My highly specialized training with adolescents and adults was obtained through group practice, nursing homes, hospital in Rehabilitation Medicine, community center, and corrections. I apply an integrative approach based on the client's needs and presenting problems. I often use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Transtheoretical Model, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Art Therapy and Multicultural Therapy.
