I help clients focus on what they want from our work and what they need to do to get there. My goal is to create a space for you where you are comfortable enough to explore; where you can feel safe, grounded, with a sense of choice; where you can learn to trust in taking chances and moving in new directions.
My approach is more mind/body-based than many therapists. In addition to talk therapy techniques like ACT and DBT, clients have the optional opportunity to incorporate mindfulness, drama therapy, or expressive arts therapy techniques to help experience changes at a deeper level. Play, imagination, movement, connection, laughter, and rest are good medicine to help relieve tension and stress.
