We all have a story, and our stories impact how we see the world, others, and
ourselves. Sometimes figuring out who we are and how we fit inside our stories can feel
daunting. Through the process of counseling, we can journey together into the painful,
joyful, and uncertain chapters of your story, examining how that story came to be and
working together to author the next chapter. I primarily work with individuals 16+ navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, breakups, people-pleasing, identity, and self-esteem issues. I am particularly passionate about creating a welcoming and empowering environment for women.
I strive to approach counseling with empathy, consistency, and curiosity. I have a relational, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach to counseling, and I use feminist and narrative approaches to support you in meeting your goals for counseling. I also strive to create a space where you can talk honestly about painful and complex family dynamics.
Emotional pain can be overwhelming, but there is freedom to be had in acknowledging and processing the truth it shows us. Through the non-judgment of the therapeutic relationship, we’ll explore your goals as well as past experiences, coping mechanisms, social and gender inequalities, and unmet needs that may be inhibiting your journey toward healing.
