Due to the high demand for effective group therapy, at this time I am only accepting group therapy clients. Group therapy is often the answer for people who have read a million self help books, have been in one-on-one therapy for years, and have tried all kinds of meds, but their anxiety hasn't gotten better. My groups are a good fit for anyone who believes 3 devastating myths about mental health: 1) I'm the only one who has this problem, 2)I am crazy or will go crazy 3) my symptoms are so severe, so unique, so chronic that I am incurable.

This is our Group Room! Our adult anxiety management group is hybrid - you can choose whether to come in person, or via HIPAA compliant Google Meet.

Most people with a mental disorder don't know anyone else with the same disorder who's working on recovery. They've tried to talk to family and friends, but their loved ones don't get it, and judge them as odd, irrational, scary or ridiculous. Many times, a person won't get better until they have a group of similar people on their side.

I am LGBTQ+ affirming, and I encourage all my clients to be themselves, no matter how unique or different they feel. My approach is inclusive, friendly and safe. Sometimes, group therapy helps people make progress faster than they ever could in one-on-one therapy. "What one heart cannot bear alone, many hearts can bear together."

The groups spam four age ranges: 5-7, 8-12, 13-17, and 18+. In Person Anxiety Management Group - Teens 14-17

This in-person only group is currently enrolling, and will begin as soon as 8 teens are registered. It will be held on Wednesdays, 6:10-7:00pm. This group provides evidence based therapy, designed to teach teens in six sessions, how to overcome fears, phobias, anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessions and compulsions using coping skills from Cognitive Behavioral, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapies.

Phobease In Person Anxiety Group - Tweens and Kids

These two groups will begin as soon as 8 kids are enrolled. Child group age 5-7 will begin Fall of 2022, Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:00. Tween group age 8-12 will begin Fall of 2022, Mondays, 4:00 - 5:00. Phobease is evidence based group therapy designed to teach you in six sessions, how to overcome fears, phobias, anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessions and compulsions using coping skills from Cognitive Behavioral, Exposure and Response Prevention and Acceptance and Commitment Therapies.
